Future and Tyla team up for FIFA World Cup 2026 song ‘Game Time’

Future and Tyla have joined forces for the first time on “Game Time,” a new single released as part of the official FIFA World Cup 2026 album. The 2026 tournament, the largest in World Cup history, will feature 48 national teams competing across 16 cities in the United States, Canada and Mexico. Through its official album, FIFA has assembled a diverse roster of international artists in an effort to connect with audiences across multiple genres and regions ahead of the month-long competition.

Game Time” marks the seventh song released from the official album, joining previously unveiled tracks including “Goals,” “Por Ella,” “Echo,” “Illuminate” and “Lighter.”  The track arrives alongside an official music video, serving as the latest addition to FIFA’s growing soundtrack project ahead of next month’s tournament in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Future said in a statement: “The World Cup is a global stage. We made a record to match that energy. Now you know it’s Game Time. I’m excited to bring that energy to the Opening Ceremony in Los Angeles and celebrate this moment with fans from around the world.”

Tyla described the opportunity as a milestone in her career, citing memories of South Africa hosting the World Cup in 2010. “Being part of the official FIFA World Cup 2026™ Album feels like a full circle moment — from South Africa hosting the World Cup in 2010. I’m so excited to perform at the opening ceremonies! Let’s go Bafana Bafana.”

The two artists are expected to perform the song during the FIFA World Cup opening festivities in Los Angeles on June 12, joining a lineup that includes Katy Perry, Anitta, LISA and Rema as FIFA stages opening celebrations across all three host nations.
