Shinedown launched the official music video for its latest track “Young Again,” coinciding with the widespread commercial rollout of the multi-platinum rock band’s eighth studio album, EI8HT.
The band celebrated the dual release by hosting a globally broadcast interactive Q&A session with fans at the Hard Rock Cafe in Tampa, Florida, which immediately preceded the online unveiling of the video clip. Directed by filmmaker Andrew Donoho, the video serves as a visual companion to a track that explores the passage of time and personal reflection. Bassist Eric Bass handled production duties for the song, which was tracked at his Big Animal Studio facility in Charleston, South Carolina.
The new video arrives as the rock outfit completes the final leg of its spring headlining tour across the United States alongside supporting acts Coheed and Cambria, Black Stone Cherry, and DJ Rock Feed. Shinedown is scheduled to continue its extensive live touring cycle throughout the summer, kicking off a secondary leg of North American concert dates in July with From Ashes to New joining the touring package. The band has also confirmed an autumn concert series across the United Kingdom and Ireland booked for November.
