Josh Groban sets summer ‘Stage, Screen, and Symphony Tour’

Josh Groban is heading back on the road this summer with his ‘Stage, Screen, and Symphony Tour,’ a nationwide run that will feature full orchestra performances centered around Broadway classics and songs from his latest album, Cinematic.

The tour begins August 11 and continues through September 3, shortly after Groban wraps up his co-headlining dates with Jennifer Hudson in early July. Fans can also catch him later this year during another round of his GEMS residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in October.

Speaking about the upcoming shows, Groban said, “I’ve always been drawn to music that tells a story, whether it’s on the Broadway stage, in film, or through a great symphonic arrangement. This tour is a chance for me to bring all of those worlds together while sharing many of the songs that have inspired me throughout my career. Performing this music alongside some of the best orchestras in the world each night is going to be incredibly special.”

Released on May 8, Cinematic features reimagined versions of well-known movie songs alongside appearances from special guests. The new concerts will also spotlight material from Groban’s 2015 Broadway-inspired album, Stages.
