Kelly Clarkson has released a new video for “I’d Be Lyin’,” giving fans a look at her live performance of the song during her recent Las Vegas residency. The footage was filmed at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace as part of Clarkson’s “Studio Sessions” shows and features the singer performing with a full band and backup singers. The residency’s stage was designed to evoke the atmosphere of a recording studio.
The performance video arrives after Clarkson completed the latest run of her Las Vegas engagement this summer. “I’d Be Lyin’” was released as Clarkson’s first single of 2026 and her first new non-holiday music since 2025’s “Where Have You Been.” The track is expected to serve as the lead single from her upcoming 11th studio album, which would follow 2023’s Chemistry.
Clarkson has described “I’d Be Lyin’” as a sarcastic, attitude-driven song about the frustration that can arise when someone hears only what they want to hear. She said the verses draw inspiration from Prince’s staccato style before opening into a larger pop-rock chorus designed in the spirit of her signature empowerment songs.
The new video comes as Clarkson prepares for the next phase of her career. She is set to return as a coach for the 30th season of NBC’s The Voice, premiering Sept. 21, and The Kelly Clarkson Show just concluded last month after its seventh season.
