KATSEYE bringing ‘Wild Hearts’ documentary to theaters worldwide this month

KATSEYE are heading to movie theaters worldwide this month with the release of its first feature-length documentary, ‘KATSEYE: Wild Hearts,’ offering fans an inside look at the group’s rapid rise and the making of its upcoming EP, WILD.

Directed by Nadia Hallgren, the documentary combines “never-before-seen footage,” fan-submitted videos from the group’s EYEKONS community and intimate interviews with the members as it chronicles KATSEYE’s evolution from the Dream Academy competition to becoming one of pop’s fastest-rising global acts. An official synopsis for the documentary reads: “from the intense pressure of Dream Academy to chart-topping viral success, audiences experience the highs, setbacks, sacrifices, and breakthrough moments that transformed Katseye on their path to global pop stardom.”

The theatrical release is intended as both a celebration of the group’s latest chapter and its dedicated fan base. Distributor Trafalgar Releasing said the event is designed to bring EYEKONS together for a shared cinema experience while highlighting the group’s journey, including its achievements, challenges and breakthrough moments. The documentary will screen in select theaters worldwide as part of a limited engagement, debuting in limited theatrical screenings beginning Aug. 12, just two days before the group’s third EP arrives on Aug. 14.

Following the premiere of KATSEYE: Wild Hearts and the launch of WILD, the group is set to begin its ‘Wildworld Tour’ on Sept. 1, marking another milestone in its growing global career.
