Ahead of the launch of her sold-out Paris residency this fall, Céline Dion has shared the song “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci,” marking her second original release this year. The song, written by French Lebanese singer-songwriter Ycare, was released alongside an animated lyric video, created by Chinese Canadian motion artist Yoho Yue. Check it out: HERE.
Dion made her long-awaited return to new music with the release of her French-language single “Dansons,” her first new song in three years. Both ‘Dansons’ and “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci” will be released on a 12-inch vinyl, available September 4th.
Dansons—whose title translates to “Let’s Dance”—marks Dion’s first original release in several years. The song was written by longtime collaborator Jean-Jacques Goldman, who reflected on its meaning, saying: “It was 2020. The world was stopping and yet people were dancing, confined to their homes. Six years later, the virus is gone, but there is no need to change a word, the world isn’t spinning any more smoothly, and we are still dancing ‘above the abyss.’” Dion and Goldman have a long creative history, including the landmark 1995 album D’eux, one of the best-selling non-English albums ever released, as well as their 2016 collaboration “Encore un soir.”

Dion previously announced that due to popular demand she has extended her Paris residency, Céline Dion Paris 2026-2027, with 10 new dates added in 2027: May 8, 12, 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 26, 28 and 29. Dion is preparing for a major return to the stage with the landmark limited engagement at the renowned Paris La Défense Arena, which will mark her first significant live performances since revealing her stiff-person syndrome diagnosis in December 2022, and will feature a mix of her most iconic songs in both English and French, brought to life through a large-scale production led by acclaimed designer Willo Perron.
